Faulty board - fehlerhafte Adapterplatine

Faulty board - fehlerhafte Adapterplatine
Today I received mail from Robonect team saying that my Hx 20p board for my HQ 420 is faulty . I am sure some of you have also goten the same mail.
I wonder if this is really so scary as described in the mail? If so then I am sorry for the team that has to arrange the replacements. What a hassle!
Anyway I still think it's a bit exaggerated. When I installed the board I haven't noticed any fluid on the contacts or board. Its just looked very neat.
Meanwhile I wonder:
-Do we have any more detailed information like a pictures of effected boards, how does the contact pins look with fluid?
-Any description on how to identify if the board I have is really affected.
-Can we remove the fluid using other chemicals (alcohol, etc) ?

I have received the same e-mail and was wondering the same: Could we get some more information on the fault please to better assess the risk of keeping Robonect running for another 2-3 weeks vs. one more opening of the mower requiring time and replacement of the seal and always the risk of damaging something.
- Does the corrosion affect the metal pins or the plastic?
- Is the cable connector or pcb connector affected or both?
- How can such corrosion result in a real short, is this at all likely over a few months?
- Does the hot summer we had reduce or increase the problem (evaporating of residual fluid vs accelerated corrosion)?
- Any probability estimate of a fatal error occuring (without liability for this estimate on the developer's side of course)?
I hope this unfortunate fault does not damage the reputation of this great product, and thanks for the warning, Gerald!

The mail was really scared and yesterday I removed my Robonect which was used in my AM 430X.
But I was surprised, that without the Robonect my problems with AM app and cloud connectivity have been gone
I expected an issue with the AM connect module, because of other complains in forum without Robonect.

Did you have the opportunity to inspect the potentially faulty connector? Anything interesting to be seen in terms of corrosion? If so, would it be possible to post a pic?

No, everything looks fine. Seems like another fault. As soon as the replacement will arrive, I have to investigate

as mentioned in our mail, the quality is very important for us. Also a transparend and a honest communication with all users.
The fluid, we talk about is not simple visible, because it is inside the connector, which connectes the ribbon cable with the PCB.
You have to open the connector und remove the ribbon cable to find it. How want to so it, can do it (if you got our mail!), because you will receive a new adapter soon! - Important note: You will only receive a new adapter, no new Robonect module!
Do to the fact, that it is not simple to find, we did not realize this problem during our tests.
If you don't want to destroy your adapter, here are the scary pictures.

Ups, keine Mail bekommen. Liegt evtl daran, dass ich über meine alte nicht mehr erreichbar bin. Hatte mit Gerald kommuniziert, das ich eine neue habe. Ist das durchgedrungen? Oder bekomme ich automatisch neue Teile?
Ich kann nicht genügend Englisch, also muss ich in Deutsch schreiben...
