AM330X out of order

And sorry to write in english : auf Deutsch schreiben würde schreck sein (ich lese und verstehe oft),
and my english may be horrible I think.

I received the Hx modul 2 days ago, installed it yesterday and all was fine :
I succeed in connecting to my home wlan, on mower.online

So I was looking to foncionnalities this sunny afternoon while my robot was mowing.

My 330X was built in 2014, sw is 5.03, no more updated since july 2015 because no need to.

Today it was mowing on Timer.
I took my tablet to try to let it move with tablet orientations.
I was connected far from my home wlan trough direct connection to the Access Point : no problem.
But with my large fingers I made a mistake and choosed Joystick.
And instead of going backward I push on [Start] ...
Then the robot stopped : I though to execute my wishes ...
I didn't realize that it was set OUT of order.
Seeing that nothing happened any more, that the web site wasn't efficient anymore, that I lost the wlan connection, I opened AM330X by Stop button : nothing on screen.
I used the ON/OFF button : no reaction, no beep, nothing on screen.
I put it on it's base and try ON/OFF : nothing.
So I opened the mower to let batteries disconnected and connected them : nothing (no beep, no screen, just some sparkles when connecting batteries connectors)
So, batteries disconnected, I removed bypass through the Hx module and reconnected batteries : nothing new,

Now robot sleeps batteries disconnected until tomorrow because I'm sad not seeing any solution.

Do yo have any idea for a solution to try ?
I know that the use of Hx Module was at my own risks ... but any help would be fine.

And I forgot to say I upgraded successfully to v 1.0 beta 7a.

Batteries seemed to be charged, surely near the end of Timer but the robot was still mowing when I proceeded.


Do you mind I should connect again the Hx module as nothing happened to try a wlan connexion to Stop Joystick mode ?

The Joystick mode is automatically stopped, when you close the browser or restart Robonect.
Did you connect the charging cable after assembly the mower? (The batteries are charged?!)

Yes I was carefull about batteries connection or disconnection during the first install and today during test to solve the problem.
At first install, I had just a warning after robot come back to life : temporary battery problem (my translation from the french : problème temporaire de Batterie)
After nothing else, all seemed normal as usual in the robot use.

At the moment, I have no idea.
You can check, of it something happen, when you swap the connectors of the batteries.

You should keep Robonect bypassed as long as the cause is not clear.
In my opinion, this can’t be a software failure.

You can check, if the controller on the main board is heating up, when you connect the batteries again.

Another test: remove all cables from the main board except the main switch. Than connect the batteries and switch it on. Do you hear a beep?

Hallo

I tested but nothing new.

When I placed the robot to charge, I saw a sparkle but no warm after a while (batteries, main board still cold).

I think I will buy new cards for my mower.
I think I'll still use use the Hx modul (that raise its target) but not using/playing with the Joystick/tablet menu

Before, I'm waiting a few days to think or read any posts to give me idea to test.

That means, if only the mainboard, switch and batteries are connected, it still does not beep?
Before you replace the mainboard, we should ensure, that no failure of robonect caused the malfunction. Using the Joystick or other featuers can't be responsible for that. Could you send me some parts for checking them? If Robonect is responsible for a defect mainboard, we will find a solution, that you have no further costs.
