Wish: Pinging a different host

Hello, the formware allows pinging the gateway and in case it is not reachable it allows resetting the wifi connection.
I do have multiple access points around the house and indeed the function would be very useful. Unfortunately I am using a firewall that cannot be pinged. However, i have other hosts in the network that could be pinged. Any chance to add the possibility to specify which IP address to ping? thanks
