SW7a-Return to base via boundary line problem [POSSIBLE BUG, UNRESOLVED]

Beitrag von Toomaster » Do 11. Apr 2019, 14:01

Hi, sorry for typing in english.

I have automower 315 (2015) and FW Beta 7a.

I discovered that return to base via boundary line ONLY works if both settings are active and have the same value (boundary: return to base-right, return to base-left).
Meaning that the mower don´t follow the boundary line to the base station if the value is´t equal, or if only one option is checked (active).

I can confirm this. The only way to make it work, is to have both active. Having only one side active in robonect it results in endless searching without moving along the boundary wires but crossing them like in mowing mode. The reverse test draws the same picture: if test right or left is started in the mowers display it results in both sides activated in robonect, however I deactived both in Robonect and saved this settings.

The users manual describes the following and is confirming this, too: boundary wire activated for finding the charging station the mower randomly decides which direction it will follow right or left side along the boundary wire. So ist doesn't matter for Robonect settings: only one checkbox for the boundary wire itself is needed.

Notice: following the boundary wire worked for me, but docking in the charging station only worked having the stations radio signal on, too. Without this, the mower just ignored its existence (maybe because my station is not located on the lawn like Husqvarna recommend it, but beside in a short corridor.)
No problems with having only the searching wire activated.
