Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Hi everyone!
Just wanted to mention that the plugin has now been verified by Homebridge, meaning it has passed their Q/A process.
So if you've not done it yet, upgrade.
Version 1.1.11 also adds the ability to choose what clicking the fan does while mowing.

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Hi! I’ve got your plugin working in HomeKit but I can’t seem to get the temperature to read from the temperature sensor instead of the battery. Do you have any trouble shooting suggestions? My code is below. Thanks!

Could you post a Screenshot of how it looks in the Apple home app please.clearedhot hat geschrieben: ↑Do 11. Nov 2021, 16:55Hi! Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Sure, for context these temps are in Fahrenheit, and are around 20 degrees higher than ambient. Today was about 48 degrees F when I pulled this.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Thank you.
So, the 70 degrees you're seeing in the home app, are not correct?
What does the Robonect UI tell you the temperature is?
Best,
David

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
That’s correct, right now I show 19.6 C which should be around 68 F but the app shows 84 F. I think the battery itself is likely 84 but the external temp is in the ballpark of 68, I just stepped OUT and it is great for a Texas evening.

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Sooo, from your pictures I'm getting that the battery temperature is 19.6C(68F) and the internal temperature is 29C (84F). The home App shows 84F which then is the correct value.
What am I missing here
I'm reading the 29C value if you input 'HX' as the robonect-card value which is the internal temp sensor.
If you'd input h30x, then I'd read the 19.6C value from the battery.

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Hi larsan,
I installed your plugin and it works. Thats awesome.
The thing what the user "clearedhot" means, is probably that the humidity sensor is showing the humidity inside the device, but he (and me) want to see the battery level as you mentioned on page one: "- Battery level (simulated by a Humidity sensor)."
I have the same "issue". Is it possible to change it, so that the humidity sensor is showing the battery level?

Re: HomeKit plugin (using homebridge)
Possible - yes, tho HomeKit has changed since I started developing the plugin and will not display the humidity as a large sensor anymore (it'd be small and at the top of the page).zakoman hat geschrieben: ↑Fr 13. Mai 2022, 16:13Hi larsan,

But I won't do it.
I want to keep my plugin as close to HomeKit standard as possible. Thus I present the battery level where HomeKit expects it. In the accessory settings.
